OpenCues gives you three grammar tools, all inside the text field you are typing in, and every fix is visible and individually revertable.
1. Continuous grammar correction
Continuous grammar correction rewrites clear errors as you pause. It ships enabled, and applies whenever the inline agent is running: arm the agent with any task (agentically correct spelling _ works) and grammar rides along every pass. Each fix appears dimmed in your text; to revert one, navigate to it with Ctrl+Alt+←/→ and press Ctrl+Alt+↓ to cycle back to what you typed. Ignoring a fix is accepting it.
2. One-shot: fix the grammar _
Type an instruction and a blank after any text and the transform blank rewrites it once, in place. Works for any imperative: make this past tense _, remove pronouns _, translate to japanese _.
3. A background task: agentically correct spelling _
This arms a continuous editing task with your own wording. Every pause in typing re-checks the draft against the task; add task fix grammar _ stacks another concern, stop task _ stops (existing fixes stay), current task _ shows what is running.
In all three modes the model never fights your typing: rewrites are merged against the live buffer and any edit overlapping text you typed mid-generation is dropped. And because OpenCues only ever edits your unsent draft, nothing is submitted anywhere until you press Enter yourself.
